A Fae Romance

The secrets and time in a legend weave
Old dreams of magic told in make believe
The story shared before a child can sleep
As once upon a time begins a tale
A handsome prince whose love must never fail
When curses chant magic to turn things bad
A maiden’s heart is left broken and sad
And all he can hear is the tears that weep
He must battle through the way fate has planned
So love may win and he can gain her hand
The band will play the mystic elfin tune
That leads the happy ever after dance
To love’s first kiss beneath the silvery moon
So ends another fairy-tale romance

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
