Intoxication that rewires the brain
Thoughts caught in time
Rehearse, rewrite, edit and all that stuff
Dreams caught in rhyme
Another cup darkly bitter and strong
Watch the pen move
Spirals of the mind on paper appear
Graceful and smooth
Words rough and ready, too often uncouth
Yet revealing in the end there is truth
