Floating Leaf

Like a leaf floating gently on a stream
My kisses linger lightly on your skin
To bring your heart’s desire inside my dream
And hold you close within my arms tonight
As whispered words entice your senses in
I watch your eyes glisten in pure delight
And fingers dally where shadows begin
And love turns to lust like a changing tide
Each pulsation spirals burning bright
For there is nothing left for us to hide
And all we can see is desirous insight
Here, in a kiss only our love can win
That calm desire that cannot be denied
As kisses linger lightly on your skin

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
