The Hunt

NaPoMo 2015

Soapy lather caress on trembling skin
Beneath the pulsing heat of water spray
Bubble covered fingers on your flesh play
Beneath the water let your senses spin
With skin touching skin our bodies stand clean
In preparation for a lover’s scene
We are fully alive with senses fresh
Wrapped in fluffy white let the fun begin
My gentle strokes wiping the water away
Yet my mind’s a hunter seeking his prey
In a game where only patience will win
The fingers that teased take hold of your hand
As lips softly kiss on your goose-bumped flesh
Implications I know you understand

Nimble fingers trailing through your damp hair
And masculine lips tease your shoulders bare
The whispered intent of places I’ll kiss
To hear your litany of love in a sigh
For it is your song that makes this man whole
As with your sweet lips you caress his soul
Still I am the hunter wanting your cry
I kiss you in this paradox of love
Savouring the taste that’s finer than wine
Incite sensations that none dare speak of
For ours is the love that I can’t deny
And yours is the pleasure that is my goal
Come with me, my love, as in stars we stroll
Within the magic of a sensual high

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
