From Sir with Love

NaPoMo 2015

There is part of me that’s held back from view
My heart and soul that remains always true
And like my love I hold it close and near
To share with one I will know as my own
And in return I ask for love not fear
My patience is yours, my respect and trust
If these simple things can be deemed a gift
I give you my heart, my love and my lust
As the balance of passion begins to shift
Let me do nothing to earn your distrust
My honour is to be worthy of you
And when in desire the senses may drift
I will carry you to love’s next frontier
And protect you from all harm that is shown

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
