Ex Cuius Amore Luna

NaPoMo 2015

Tonight I saw the moonlight dance again
As it bathed your skin in its lunar rain
Silver hue sharpens the look in my eye
As I whisper my hunger in your ear
Be mine, my love, let me hear you heart cry
As I worship you, so sweet and divine
My gift of my heart to my own goddess
And as you smile let me sip on your wine
In an intimate prayer hear me confess
That my love will hold you forever near
And if you will be mine so I’ll be thine
The pillar of strength to absorb your pain
And as you succumb to your lover’s sigh
I will hold you within that sweet caress

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
