Zenith Part 1

NaPoMo 2015

In darkened valleys of that secret place
My eye delights in all your passion’s grace
I watch the ripples of love on your skin
Each wave to bring me closer to the shore
So my kiss may gather your sweetness in
To ease the ache that dwells so deep inside
Like an unquenched thirst amid desert sand
The sweet desire that cannot be denied
Within the zenith of your promised land
At the apex of love can there be more
For a man to want or begin to chase
Yet I leave you wanting what might have been
The anticipation that cannot hide
For the night is young, we have time in hand.

To be continued….

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
