Cloudy Sky

NaPoMo 2015

As crimson clouds embrace the mountain high
I linger here entranced by the dusky sky
And wonder what it is that you can see
When in a kiss I catch the breath of you
Inviting your soul to come dance with me
And as the day turn towards darkest night
In passion burns a tempestuous rage
Between the shadowed dusk and morning light
Our spirits take their place on central stage
To fly as one above the highest tree
As Bards foretold upon a written page
The realms of mystery come into view
Whenever lover’s let their spirits fly
To reach the highest planes of divine sight.

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
