NaPoMo 2015

There is a question burning in my mind
I dare not ask for love it seems is blind
It’s no secret yet leaves its wounding mark
Upon my heart; some thoughts are best unknown
And thus they are better left in the dark
But as I surrender to your sweet kiss
There is an emptiness only time can heal
A thought that’s waiting at the edge of bliss
And I wish again that I could just feel
The one touch that ignites the deepest spark
And to understand the sensual appeal
To feel my imaginings thus defined
Embracing you in all that love has shown
And fill the void that is my own abyss

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
