NaPoMo 2015

I watched your pleasure dance in front of you
As with my fingers on your skin I drew
The lover’s web of desire lighting the flame
That brought your need and want to my command
And like a thief my kiss then staked its claim
Upon your heart; a touch that made you mine
And held your senses on a razor’s edge
There my whisper dared you to cross the line
And I wanted to let your spirit fledge
To see you dance without the fear or shame
And as you flew I reached my own divine
Without releasing the grasp of my hand
In this I stay true to that honour pledge
To keep you safe in all things that I do

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
