Abandonment

Amid the ramblings of a flower child
I long to share my heart that beats so wild
Here in the moonlight where we come to play
I meet your eyes with a come hither grin
Beneath the night sky with no more to say
I taste your kiss with a daring caress
With teasing fingers coaxing you to me
Igniting senses for my lips to press
My growling hunger to let you be free
Your deepest desire is where I begin
Abandoning want with nothing to suppress
Our passion unbound in sensual array
And I look for the moment your eyes smile
Before sliding shut in sweet ecstasy.

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
