NaPoMo 2015

Exotic the fruit that shares her flavour
In succulent sweetness that lips savour
When first I bite into tender soft skin
The tongue lingers upon the offered flesh
Enticing senses and drawing me in
As the eyes linger on the rosy hues
Surely such pleasure is beyond my reach
With delicate flesh so easy to bruise
A poet loses his power of speech
As he succumbs to the desire of sin
Inhaling the sweet honey -dewed vapour
Her growing hunger now his to enthuse
With each bite intoxicating and fresh
He sinks deep into the flesh of his peach

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
