Frustration when the mind has lost its way
Confused echoes of thought invade the night
Awaiting answers at the dawn of day
Yet none can be seen and nothing is right
Alone in the darkness of time and space
The soul can feel the grip of icy cold
And even breathing seems so out of place
And fear is all that remains here to hold
But time shall reveal its more tender touch
When the whispers of love come gently in
To gently caress like a breeze on skin
Then the mind can forget to think so much
For answers are there often left unknown
Until revealed in all that love has shown.

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
