Nationality: Russian

Title of Piece: Swan Lake: Waltz

Brief Biography: Tchaikovsky was a composer of concertos, symphonies, operas, ballets and chamber music. His life was punctuated by personal crises and depression despite is successful career. Tchaikovsky’s sudden death at 53 has been attributed to cholera but arguments still persist that it was self-inflicted.
