Brief Biography: Fantin-Latour was a painter and lithographer predominantly known for his paintings of flowers and Parisian writers and artists. He was a conservative painter despite being associated with the Impressionist painters of the day. Faintin-Latour’s painting A Basket of Roses was featured on the album cover of New Order’s Power, Corruption and Lies album.
