I kiss the dust that lies beneath your feet
As I know from your love I can’t retreat
But still I feel the pain of losing you
You are all I wanted in dreams beneath
The sun; you are my sun and all I knew
Of love I found only in your presence
The rapture as I drowned in your blue eyes
As you stripped my soul to its raw essence
And I called out your name in muted sighs.
Return to me let me rest on your thighs
Torment me, my love, in every sense
As I fuel your sensual hunger anew
Once more my lips feel the bite of your teeth
Before I surrender me to your heat

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
