Haibun Thinking: Crazy Poet

Haibun Thinking is a weekly challenge to write a Haibun. This week’s challenge can be found here

Voices whisper in daylight and scream in the night. They are repeating echoes of images flirting with a vague clarity of vision yet raw and rough at the edges as they float in and out of the consciousness. The process of creation grabs one, holding it tight like a rough diamond to be cherished and nurtured in ink. Black curls craft and sooth gently easing the hard edges into metered words. The once unpolished stone takes its place of honour in the necklace of poetry.

About Jez Farmer

I am a freelance writer and poet and started writing after raising my two boys as a way of discovering just who Jez is. That is still very much an on-going project but the journey so far has introduced me to many wonderful friends and fellow writers through an ever growing love of poetry.
